It's me, Ashton Leigh

I figured I'd introduce myself since I've already shared everything and more that you'd never need to know about me. ;)
Hi! I'm Ashton. I identify as a lot of things, but here are just a few:
I'm a mom to two handsome and crazy boys. Being a mom is THE most challenging job I've ever had. You are just trying to do and be your best for these little humans, but you make mistakes, you second guess everything you do, and you feel judged by everyone with every little move you make. It's not for the faint of heart, but it's also the most amazing journey you'll ever experience, too. I mean, it would have to be or we'd never do it again, #amiright?!
I've been a CrossFit coach for 6 years now. It's been a long journey. I've fought to push myself past any limits I thought were in my way, and I'd say I was pretty successful. Last year, I finished 124 out of 8,330 women in our region. I'm beyond proud of where I've been able to push to, but last year I decided that competition was taking too much of my time and attention from things that mattered more to me in life. I still love to go workout with my closest friends, it's just a shorter workout with less physical and emotional demands! ;) Being involved in CrossFit Antietam is still something I'm passionate about, and this year I've put more time and energy into being a better COACH. I still get to be with people I love, but I get to help them become better themselves! I'm a firm believer that health should be your #1 priority. If you're healthy and happy, you're able to give so much more to those around you. In 2019 my mantra is "health"- which for me means mental health as much as it means physical health!
And in case you didn't know, I'm a lover of photography. ;) I think the best moments are the ones that are just you being you. Your kids being themselves. Your spouse fighting pictures every step of the way! ;) The fighting, the crying, the snuggling, the screaming, the smiles, the teasing, and the hugging, I'm obsessed with it all. I love being able to use my creativity to capture relationships and love. It's an outlet that I never thought I'd be able to use to make an income, but I also love proving myself wrong. ;)
